About

By Designers for Designers, the Alliance of Interior Designers is a non-profit professional organization serving the working interior designers of the Raleigh, Triangle Area of North Carolina.  Our members work together to exemplify integrity and design excellence.

Our unique collaboration systems and regular meetings provide members with opportunities to learn, network and benefit from the experiences and support of each other.  Additionally, we take a proactive approach to helping our members generate business by featuring them on our website and actively marketing and promoting the AID and its members.

History

Originally founded in 1996 as the Triangle NC Chapter of the Interior Design Society, we reorganized in 2011, becoming the Alliance of Interior Designers.  This gave our group of design professionals the ability to focus more closely on a mission of directly supporting the professional and economic prosperity of our members on a local and more personal level.
